The Historical and Genealogical Society of Somerset County, with support from the Somerset County Maple Producers Association, PA Maple Syrup Producers Council, and private donors, has developed a new Pennsylvania Maple Museum to preserve the history and tell the story of maple production in Pennsylvania. The grand opening was 6/28 and 6/29/2024.
