Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producers Council

As April kicks off in Pennsylvania, the days (and long nights) of boiling sap into pure Pennsylvania maple are drawing to an end. As producers are cleaning evaporators and shutting up the sugar house, we would like to offer a thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 Open House and Taste and Tour Weekends across the keystone state! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported these producers. We hope you went home lots of pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup and value-added products as well as learned something new about making maple syrup! We would also like to remind you that many producers will have products for sale throughout the year so be sure to look for them at fairs and festivals this summer!

The 2024 Pennsylvania Maple Season kicked off this year with an Official Tapping Ceremony on February 23rd at Dewy Meadows Maple with Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture, Russell Redding, the 2023-2024 Pennsylvania Maple Ambassador, Madison Vandermark, John Geyer from the PA Hardwoods Development Council and PA Maple Syrup Producers Council President, Kyle Dewees! Make sure to check out media from the event!
